How Do I Know What Assisted Living to Tour?
Our Senior Living Specialist will meet you one-on-one to understand your priorities for selecting an assisted living facility. Together, we’ll explore suitable communities and schedule tours. During the tours, your advisor will accompany you, providing helpful questions to ask and guidance on what to look for.
What is Included in Assisted Living?
The cost of assisted living typically covers three meals plus snacks, daily activities, laundry, and assistance with daily tasks. Some facilities also include cable, internet, phone, and transportation. Additional services like salon treatments may not be included.
Is Furniture Provided?
Assisted living communities are licensed as Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRFs). At the very least, room furnishings generally include a bed (including mattress, box spring, and headboard) and a nightstand/dresser.
Does Assisted Living Have Nursing?
Some assisted living facilities have full-time Registered Nurses, but they aren’t available around the clock like they are in nursing homes.
